Meet Your Teacher...

Hamish Ander has been working as a professional composer and qualified trumpet/piano instructor over the past three years. Having graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Music he has since gained experience in both the film industry and classroom setting alike. Hamish specializes in the composition and creation of orchestral scores, and his music has been performed within Australia and overseas.

Like most musicians, Hamish is passionate about sharing his love with others and offers tuition in a range of music courses, from brass to beginner piano, introductory music theory to composing and producing your own music digitally.

What you need to know

Enrollments

Enrollments are taken on an inquiry basis and are not locked to school term times.

There are no minimum lesson plans and times slots are negotiable on a week-by-week schedule. Make-up lessons are always an option also.

Point Cook Music Studio is open during the following hours:

Mon-Fri 3pm-7pm

Sat 10am-3pm

Pricing

Lessons across all courses are priced at standard rates for Melbourne's West, with one 30-minute session offered at $30. If you opt for a full hour-long lesson, the cost is $55.

Our school term package includes 10 30-minute lessons per week valued at $27 each, essentially giving you one lesson free at an upfront fee of $270 for the bundle.
